If you have tried to lose weight and failed. Then, you tried and failed again. It is about time to think what caused the failure. It may be that the program does not fit your needs or preferences. Dr. Shapiro’s Guide to Picture Perfect Weight loss may be a possibility for you.
It is a calorie-driven program. Dieters are motivated not to count the caloric intake but to make lower calorie choices. Dr. Shapiro supports that counting calories is where dieters become frustrated in their attempt to lose weight. The Guide to Picture Perfect plan depends on dieters’ mindset by using photos to inspire.
However, this program does not encourage exercise and physical activity of some sort which should go hand in hand with any diet program. This may be an aspect the dieter should initiate on his own.
In conclusion, Dr. Shapiro’s Guide to Picture Perfect Weight Loss is recommended.

My doctor told me to drop at least 10 pounds to help reduce my blood pressure as it was creeping. I saw Dr Shapiro’s book for Diabetes, and the pictures did the trick for me. It worked without having to count calories.
I just stopped with the donut holes, got the light whole bread, increased the veggies, eat veggie burgers and more fish.
It’s working. I dropped 12 pounds from 168 lbs in one month!
I also started swiming agin for 40 minutes 2-3 times per week.
In my opinion you need diet and exercise, yet Dr. Shapiro motivated me to get going. I look at the book regularly to keep on track.
