Background
The Fat Flush Plan is actually a diet program in a book by Ann Louise Gittlman. She is an expert in nutrition and detoxification diets. The Fat Flush Plan can be broken up into three core parts or categories that not only go a long way in detoxifying a dieter’s body but also give their metabolism a boost in the right direction.
The three part program that is the Fat Flush Plan is geared to flush away the extra fat accumulated by the body and this is done through a specific recommended diet. This diet includes items like flaxseed oil, veggies with a high anti-oxidant content like artichokes, eight ounces of protein daily, eggs, fruit and spices like mustard amongst a host of other food stuffs.
When you say ‘Flushing the Body’, then the intake of diuretics enters the picture. One has to drink plenty of diuretics when they are part of the Fat Flush Plan. Moreover, stress is given to getting enough sleep.
The first part of this three part plan begins with a Two-Week Fat Flush. During this time the daily calorific intake of the person would be 1,100.

The third and final part of the program is the Lifestyle Eating Plan and the amount of calories will go above the 1,500 mark. The Fat Flush Plan contains a detailed exercise component and it is individual specific. The exercise program can range from a 20 minute regimen per day to a 40 minutes regimen per day. The exercise that is a part of the Fat Flush Plan depends on the phase that you are going through. The exercise could be anything from low impact exercise like walking to strength training exercise like the lifting of weights. Another important criterion of the exercise plan is Sleep. One must get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep per day.
